Oh my goodness! Did you know you could take this: and this:
and turn it into this?
Neither did I until I found this blog.
Holy smokes people! Yes, it’s true! You can take your old shopping bags, cut the pictures off of them, and turn them into iron-on decals for old shirts! Just lay them on the shirt, cover with parchment paper, and hold the iron on them for about 10 seconds. Wait for the parchment paper to cool and bam! You have a cute little shirt!
That means little Miss Makenna FINALLY had her Princess shirts! (Thank goodness for the Disney store that gave us a plastic princess shopping bag with our $1.99 Tinkerbell flipflops!)
I think she likes it—and I think she is adorable with her cheeto face! : ) (I made her two shirts and still have more pictures left to make other things—all from that one bag!)
Think of the possibilities!!!
Yesterday and today I have also been working on a “yummy” babyshower gift for a friend’s shower this weekend. I took the ideas from this.
Here are my “lollipop” receiving blankets:
Then I made some “cupcakes” with baby socks and burp cloths:
And my “candy” baby washcloths:
I think it makes a pretty “sweet” gift basket, don’t you? : )
