Easter Photo Op 2013

Miss Makenna’s hair:

Sweet baby Myles. This outfit he is wearing was made by my mom as his coming home from the hospital outfit. Well it was HUGE on him then. Now, on his four week birthday, it is tight on him! Our little chub has grown a pound every week so far and is now over 12 pounds!

Farmer Max… he didn’t want to take any pictures so Austin told him to hold up the rake… and then he was happy to have his picture taken, ha ha.

There are a million pictures of Makenna. She LOVES having her picture taken. In fact, she actually told Austin how and where she wanted him to take her picture and had him just follow her around being her photographer, ha ha.

Easter Morning 2013

We started our Easter morning with our traditional scavenger hunt to find the Easter baskets. It was extra fun this year because Miss Makenna could read the clues by herself!

(Seriously, she has the WORST bed head in these pictures!)

Easter Hunt

Yesterday (Saturday) we went to a fun Easter hunt with some other ward families. This is the same hunt we went to last year. It is a fantastic one—all the kids there get a number and then they are only allowed to pick up eggs with their number on it. At the end of the day, all the kids each have found ten eggs. After all the eggs are found, the kids can all play on the playground and then we all have brunch together. Such a fun time!

Max looked for number 10. In these pictures of him, you can totally see eggs with a 10 on them before he spotted them. : )

This year Makenna was number 15 and her eggs were hidden with the big kids all over the park (Max and the younger kids had their eggs just hidden on the play structure). She did really well and found all of her eggs quickly… except for one. She looked forever for that one lost egg!

It was such a fun time! The kids had a lot of fun finding their eggs and Makenna really enjoyed playing with her friends. I also really enjoyed finally getting out of the house and getting to visit! I really love things like this!
