An ultrasound picture

Hello all! This is Austin. I have been out of school this whole week, and I have been taking care of Makenna. She is pretty much a crazy kid. Now that she can crawl, she is all over the place, and I am running around to catch her. She even tried to crawl onto the coffee table tonight! She keeps trying to pull our lamp over too. But anyways, I have been using the time to relax slightly, and catch up on some chores around here and help out a little more with things. I also started writing a book. Anyways, we went to the doctor today and got an ultrasound. It looks like the due date is actually going to be June 29th, which is around a week earlier than we had thought. I thought that it would be fun to post up the picture of the ultrasound. You can't see much, just what the doctor called a "gummy bear," ie a little 8 week old tadpole. I hope you like it! It's my turn to give Makenna a bath tonight, so I am off!

PS the little word on the ultrasound says "BABY" if you can't read it.

A Few Misc. Photos and OUR BIG NEWS

Makenna has not been wanting to eat her baby food lately. She just spits it out and won't eat at all! So we decided maybe she just doesn't like "baby" baby food. So we went and bought her Stage 3. She tried it on Saturday: spaghetti. She adored it! But she was so messy afterwards that we just had to take pictures!

Look at it! Even all over her body! I'm glad we stripped her down before feeding her!

It's so good she has to lick it off her fingers!

Last Sunday we had stake conference. I dressed Makenna in a dress that my mom made (it's my favorite one). She looked like a princess! By the way--this was supposed to be an 18 month dress! But I think it fit perfectly now!

We really couldn't get any good Halloween pictures because we brought our video camera (and it doesn't have a flash). But here you can kind of see our costumes: King Austin, Queen Pamela, and Princess Makenna. (Austin put videos up, but he missed the pictures!)

This is one we took of Princess Makenna before we went to our Trunk or Treat. She looked so dang cute!

Now for our big news... we are having another baby! I will be completely honest, once again it came as a shock to me. With Makenna, we couldn't believe we were already having a baby--we had just gotten married! Well I can't believe it again this time! I will be honest, I was taking some "medication" after having Makenna because I just did not want to be pregnant ever again! Well, lately I had been having dreams that a little baby was up in Heaven crying because her mom and dad wouldn't let her be born (yeah I know, I've probably watched too much Saturday's Warrior, "Jimmy you promised!"). So Austin and I started thinking about it. And Makenna is just so wonderful that it's hard to remember how horrible pregnancy was. So about 6 1/2 weeks ago... no more "medicine." And we are 6 weeks pregnant! So it was fast! Much faster than I thought it would be! And I'm already sick... and working at a job I don't love... and having Makenna get up three times a night! So it's very hard right now! I wish I could stay at home and have someone come and take care of us! But we are still excited! I went to the doctor on Thursday, and he said that my due date is July 5 (that may change after our ultrasound on November 19th). He said he figures, since Makenna came at 39 weeks and she was a first baby, that the baby will probably be at least a week early. I hope so! I love babies, but I do not like pregnancy! Anyway, so that is our big news and we are pretty excited (and scared... I keep teasing Austin that we are having twins!).
