We found a fun, new place to play today. I believe it was called “Kidding Around Playtown.” The place was divided up into several little “houses/stores” that the kids could play in. It had a church (aka the music room), grocery store, dress up room, fire house, police station, veterinarian's office, home, “Fixer-Upper” station, and “Grandma’s Attic” (which was full of Barbies and girlie things). Our kids had a blast playing with everything! And if it wasn’t for lunch time/nap time, I’m sure they would have stayed all day! Here are just a few of the MANY pictures we took of them:
Gorgeous little Max playing the drums:
As soon as we got there, Makenna ran to the dress up room to put on a fancy dress, shoes, and jewelry! She kept this on the ENTIRE time we were there! Silly princess!
Doing a little “laundry”:
Max really needed to check the mail:
I just think my Mr. Max is so stinkin’ handsome!
And little Miss Makenna is beautiful!
Stuck in jail:
I wouldn’t mess with this tough girl!
Our silly kids LOVED climbing up and down the stairs to the other rooms:
Taking turns in the police car:
I think Makenna had the most fun grocery shopping:
Max in the firehouse (maybe he will be like Uncle Cody!):
Max hugging his puppy:
Makenna wasn’t quite sure where the blood pressure cuff went on the puppy:
Of course Max found the stroller and the broom:
And a few more cute pics of Makenna (cooking dinner, “drinking” water, and playing with the Ken doll—aka the “daddy”):
Okay, okay, so I went overboard with pictures… again… : )
Anyway, this was a really fun place and I recommend it to everyone. It’s very small, but the whole time we were there only two other kids came in! It is also pretty dang spendy ($9 a kid! Who can afford that when you have more than one kid?!?), but they had a $3 special today that made it more affordable. Hopefully they will run more specials so we can go more often!
