A Summer Day that Actually Felt like Summer!

Today was such a weird day, Arizona weather-wise.  While it has been 110+ degrees the last couple of weeks, today it didn’t even reach 100 and was cloudy!  So though we had planned to hit the Splash Park today, we decided it was too cold and went to the park instead!

Max is really starting to have a lot of fun when we go to places like the park.  He is a bit too much of a daredevil for me!  He loves climbing—the stairs, slide, etc.  And he would climb to the top of the play area and just jump off! There were some scary moments for his mommy today; I was sure he was going to wind up really hurting himself!  Silly guy just thinks he is a grown up!

 

(Poor guy!  He was standing here at the foot of the slide when Pow!  Makenna slid down and knocked him flat on his back!)

Look at that face!  No matter what he believes, he is still a baby!

Makenna had tons of fun playing with her best buds Natalie and Maejae, going down the slide (including the BIG slide!), and playing in the sand.  Such a cutie pie!

A fun day and a FANTASTIC break from the usual hot summer!
