Where did January go?

Wow!  I realized today that I have not posted since Christmas—and January is already more than half way over!  Where has the time gone?!?  I don’t have a lot of pictures to post, because this month we’ve kind of just been doing the same-ole-same-ole.  The kids have also had really nasty colds the past couple of weeks (Max had croup and then got a cold on top of that!), so we haven’t done a whole lot.  Basically we head to the gym in the morning, head home for lunch, and then the kids take a nap.  Our afternoons are filled with the library, park, and playing with friends. Here are a few pictures I managed to capture (with my phone) of the kids at the park.  We love our winters in Arizona!

(Ok, for some reason, I can’t get these pictures to go up any larger or they get blurry.  Is that something to do with them being from my phone?  Cause pictures from my actual camera enlarge just fine…   If anyone knows how I can fix this problem, let me know! Hopefully you can click on the pictures and make them bigger!)

I loved this picture of Mr. Max!  It’s hard to see in this small picture, but someone had a bucket of sand toys… and Max decided that was a perfect place for him to sit! : )

I love when my kiddos have fun playing together!

Makenna is a big fan of the slides!

She also loves swinging on the bars like a monkey!  Makenna the monkey on slide

Max (with the help of Daddy) got to have his first turn at sliding down the BIG slides!  He is such a big boy now!

Christmas 2010

I wasn’t nearly as good taking pictures this year, but we still managed to take a ton!  But first, a week or so before Christmas I hear the kids fighting in the front room.  I walk in to find this:

DSCN1486 DSCN1488 Why yes, yes they are fighting over BABY JESUS!!!  Grr, kinda defeats the point there kiddos!  Anyway, on to Christmas pictures!

(Here lately, every time it seems we take pictures of Makenna, she has messy hair!  Not sure what that’s about…)

The kids seriously played with their “music” for HOURS!

On Christmas Eve, the package from my mom still hadn’t arrived, so the kids each opened a present from “each other.”

Daddy’s turn!

Christmas morning I woke up at about 5am.  I couldn’t go back to sleep, so I finally got up a little before 7.  Everyone was still asleep, so I sat in the front room, talking to my mom, and looking at this:

Why was everyone still asleep when they had this to open?!?:

DSCN1534 Finally, I had to just basically wake everyone up at about 8!  I couldn’t wait any longer!  We didn’t take as many pictures Christmas morning because Daddy had the camera. : )

That’s it!  I didn’t get pictures of them playing with their toys from Grandma Linda, or opening the package from Grandmom, OR wearing their new dress clothes on Sunday!  Grr!  Just know it was a lot of fun! : D
