Picture Overload!

Ahhhhh!!!!  I was going to wait until the new year to post these, but I couldn’t stand it another second!  My lovely friend Ashley, over at Ashley Moore Photography, took our family photos a few weeks ago, and they are WONDERFUL!  Seriously, she even made my super cranky kids look adorable and happy (well the adorable part probably wasn’t so remarkable because they ARE adorable, but they weren’t necessarily HAPPY that day so that’s AMAZING!).  I had a ZILLION favorite pictures, but these are a few many of my favorite favorites!

Okay, so here are some of Mr. Max.  He was a GRUMP that day!  We had to wake him up from a nap, and he was NOT happy with any of us! But somehow Miss Ashley magically captured Max as the guy he is—mischievous and oh so adorable!

Now for the always gorgeous and super photogenic Miss Makenna:

Kid’s Gym

Lately the kids have been climbing and jumping on EVERYTHING.  So today we thought it would be a good idea to hit the children’s gym—where they are actually ALLOWED to jump and climb! : )  (By the way—I LOVE living in an area where we have so many fun things to do!)

I was impressed by how much Makenna has improved on her ladder-climbing abilities since our first visit to the gym!

Max would just climb through each rung to the next one!

Makenna was pretty upset that they didn’t have the “hands” mat (it was a mat that showed you where to put your hands and feet while you turn a somersault) this time, so she just flipped over on her own!

   

They have this soft block pit (I think gymnasts practice their vaulting or something into the pit):

The kids (well Max; Makenna was a bit more timid) had a blast jumping off the little trampoline into the blocks.

Makenna thought it was more fun to ease herself down into the pit.  But then she loved to climb back out again “all by myself”!

Max, on the other hand, loved jumping right in and burying himself in the blocks:

It was a fun time for sure!  Hopefully we got some of their need for jumping around out of their systems!

Randomness

So I haven’t really felt like taking pictures OR blogging lately, so today all you get is some random catch-up pictures.

My kids love to EAT.  One day we went to the ole DQ and the kids both got kid’s meals.  They each ate EVERY SINGLE BITE of them.  These kids are 2 and 1—what are we going to feed them when they get older?!?  Anyway, here is Max enjoying his ice cream:

This is how out of the blogging world I’ve been—Thanksgiving pictures!  We had Thanksgiving at our house with just our little family again this year.  I kind of went overboard on the cooking and we had a LOT of leftovers that just ended up being tossed. : (

I told you Max loves to eat—well these pictures of him crack me up!  He wants to get every last drop of food!  The funny thing is—this wasn’t even his cereal!  He’d already eaten his; he just decided he should finish Makenna’s as well!

One night, we met some friends of ours and went to Glendale Glitters.  Pretty much, Glendale Glitters is just where they decorate downtown Glendale with tons of Christmas lights and they have booths set up everywhere selling stuff and they have performers.  Makenna loved watching the dancers!!!

(It was too dark for my other pictures to turn out.)

Anyway, so that’s just a few of the pictures I’ve taken lately!  We have just been playing with friends, playing outside (the weather is beautiful!), going to the library, doing our ward playgroup and Music Makers, and the usual.  Fun, fun!
