This morning we had breakfast and then chilled around the hotel for a while. Then we got ready in our best semi-formal attire ; ) and went to Austin’s graduation banquet. The banquet was from 11 am until 4 pm and while Austin and I attended it, Makenna and Max stayed at their friends’ Natalie and Maejae’s house and had a blast playing (thanks again for watching the kids for us!).
The banquet started with welcome remarks, then a luncheon, and ended with awards and presentations. Afterwards, we went outside and took some pictures with some of our closet Arizona friends.

These girls are some of the best girl friends I have ever had! They, along with a few other girls, are some of the reasons I loved living in Arizona so much! (Also, how did I miss getting a picture with some of my other med-school wife buddies? You know who you are! Let’s get some pictures of us tomorrow!)

It was SO much fun to see so many of our Arizona friends and to get to socialize with them all for a bit. We haven’t seen them in a year and we REALLY have missed these friends!!!
After the banquet we picked up the kids and moved to our new hotel (due to hotel availability we had to split up our hotels and stay at one the first two nights and then we will stay in the next hotel for the next two nights). After we got settled in, it was time for dinner and then bed time. Tomorrow is the big day: Graduation!!!
