Cute Mr. Max

On Friday we went to a “Knight and Princess” birthday party (So, umm, we were a hour late to this party! Makenna received the invitation a couple of weeks ago, and she and Max passed it around in the car on the way home from school. Then we got home, went inside the house, and… no invitation. I have no clue where it ended up! I kept meaning to ask the little boy’s mom when the party was, but I forgot. Luckily she called us on party day so we could make it, but I’m so sorry we were so late!). Makenna and Max had a lot of fun dressing up like a knight and a princess, slaying a dragon (dragon shaped piñata), and eating a yummy lunch. While we were there I took a few pictures of Max on my phone. He looks SO cute as a little knight!

I thought Max was so funny with this little sword. He carried it around in the back of his shirt, and whenever he was ready to fight the “bad guys” he would pull it out like he was pulling it from a sheathe. Ha ha, I don’t know where he learns these things from!

The last couple of nights Max has been waking up crying at around 10:30 or 11 pm. Nothing will console him. We end up bringing him in the living room to cuddle for a while, and then he will finally go back to sleep. Well, last night he was up and sad, but he was making the CUTEST little pouty face! So I had to bring out the camera. His sad face quickly became a happy face, and we had an impromptu photo op (I’m not sure why the pictures came out a little weird, but oh well). : )

How cute is this boy?!? Also, how different does he look without his glasses? He looks like a whole different boy! Anyway, love my cute kiddos!
