Makenna and Natalie’s Princess Birthday Party

Makenna and her best friend Natalie had their birthday party on Saturday, March 19th.  Since Makenna turned 3 in March, and Natalie is turning 4 in April, and since both girls wanted a princess party, we decided it would be fun to do a combined party!  Both girls invited their own friends as well as shared friends (but girls only this time!).  We decided to hold it at my house, but both Jenn and I bought and made decorations and decorated!  On Saturday we went to dance class and then ran to my house to begin decorating.  We worked right up until time for the party to start, but we got it done!

The Decorations:

Then we broke the girls into two teams for a Dress-Up Relay Race:

When it was her turn, each girl raced over and put on a “boa”, necklace, bracelets, ring, crown, fancy shoes, and a wig and then gave us a “princess pose” before taking it all back off and running back to her teammates.
