It snowed like crazy on New Year’s Day. Makenna thought it was crazy to stand at the bus stop (they went back to school on the 2nd) in so much snow!
Well she didn’t know crazy because it ended up snowing and snowing and snowing and we ended up getting so much snow and it was so cold she didn’t have school the next day!
Oops, I think they have on the wrong snow pants!

Well even then we knew nothing! On Sunday it ended up snowing so, so much! No school on Monday! The kids thought it would be fun to go out and play… umm, no they hated it. There was just too much snow! It was over their knees and they couldn’t walk in it. They were definitely over the snow!
Then we got the freezing temperatures. With wind chills we have been in the negative 20s and 30s since Sunday. So no school Monday. No school Tuesday. Now today, Wednesday, still no school. We still have tons of snow but the temperatures seem to be warming up (hello 11 degrees right now!) so maybe Makenna can go back to school tomorrow. She is SO ready to go back! We are over this snow and cold business! Hurry up and come spring time!

LOTS OF SNOW! I love the happy faces on the first day! But, I agree. TOO MUCH! Stay warm you guys! Fingers crossed for back to school and a little bit of warmth!
