Family Portraits 2011

It’s my favorite time of the year; family portrait time!!! This year we had a friend-of-a-friend take our pictures.  She is just starting out her photography business and trying to build her portfolio, but she did a great job! Here are a few of my favorite pictures (and honestly, it is only a FEW! Although it may seem like a picture overload, these are only my favorites of the favorites!):

Let’s start off with my favorites of Mr. Max.  I love how cute he is in his glasses and his goofy little smile!

Poor guy was getting awfully tired of taking pictures and cold! His little smile got pretty strained by the end!

Such a handsome little man!

Now on to Miss Makenna.  This gorgeous girl NEVER takes a bad picture—even though she was FREEZING by the end of our photo session! She takes after her Daddy and is perfectly photogenic always!

Now for both kids together:

It’s true; I am a biased mother.  But seriously, I think these two kids are so stinkin’ cute!!!

I have NO CLUE what Max is doing here, but it totally cracks me up!!!

This was our very last picture.  By then the kids were so, so cold! Max tried his best to hold it together, but he was too frozen to even smile! Right after this, both kids burst into tears so we had to wrap them up in their coats (and they used our coats as blankets) and head to Krispy Kreme for doughnuts and hot chocolate to warm them up!
