Yesterday Austin took the car, so the kids and I decided to venture out on a walk around the neighborhood. While we were out, we discovered the neighborhood park. It was only a 5-10 minute walk away, and had a little playground, tennis court, and basketball court. Plus a HUGE grassy area to run around on. It was also very quiet. During the hour+ we were there, we only saw two other people—one playing basketball and one riding a bike past. This may change when school gets out (Michigan kids are STILL in school!), but it was a super quiet area! And the kids had a blast playing (although they were sad other kids weren’t there to play with).
The playground had a big jungle gym structure with slides all around it.

Once again, I’m glad my kiddos have each other because they are definitely missing friends!
