Sewing Party

I can’t believe it took me so long to post about this! Anyway, I applied (and was selected) to host another House Party! This time the party was a Singer Sew Easy party—a sewing party!  They sent me all sorts of things—material, patterns, thread, Martha Stewart items, etc. to host this party.  However, the project they sent me (We would have been making crayon roll-up pouches) wasn’t something that I thought would work.  So I decided we would do a different project—fleece flower pillows using this tutorial: Fleece Flower Pillow tutorial.  I thought it was a really fun night and everyones pillows turned out way cute!

The fleece choices:

The cutting station (you can kind of see my pillow in the corner there):

The machine Singer and Joann’s loaned us for the party (I LOVED this machine!):

Everyone just worked at their own pace.  Some were cutting, some were gluing, some were sewing with the machine.  Of course ALL were chatting away as only girls can!

Thanks for coming girls! It was so nice to spend a little time together before our big move on Wednesday!  I love all my girls I’ve met and became friends with here in Arizona.  I’m going to miss you all so much! I doubt I will find such awesome friends in Michigan (cross your fingers for me—I have to have SOME friends!)! See you all at graduation next year!!!

So much fun Pam! The best part was definitely the chatting! :)
