Still growing up and learning

What crazy times! So yesterday I had my telephone interview with the school in Arizona. I thought the interview went well but then he ended it by saying, "Good luck with your move." Well we are not moving until the 30th of July... so wouldn't you think if I got the job he would be talking to me again before my move? : ( Poo. I was really excited and hoping I had gotten the job. So now I have zero clue how the heck Austin and i will make any money and actually be able to live in Arizona. Crazy expensive Arizona... I'm bummed... but Austin and I had prayed that either I would be hired for the job or else there would be another plan out there. Maybe it would be better if Makenna did not have to go into daycare. But I can't think of another job I could get that would work out. And if Austin gets a job then we really would never see him! Poo, poo, poo!

On another note, I just saw something that shocked me a little online. My freshman/sophomore years I was pretty much in love with these two cousins from my ward: Mark and Scott Schlofman. (Ha ha, I probably shouldn't have actually said their names... if someone googles them they might read my blog and tell! Ha ha, but I guess it doesn't matter now that it is 4 years later... ) They were so cute and funny and I just loved them to death. One of them I had such a huge crush on I didn't think I would ever got over it (yes, it was Scott. Who in my ward didn't have a crush on him?). Well, of course I did. I found my Austin. And he was the first boy that I ever actually wanted enough to do something about it. Yes, I was a dreaded chaser ; ) And I married Austin and we have a wonderful and beautiful baby girl and I couldn't be happier. But today I received an e-mail on facebook. It said that Mark was someone 60% of my friends wanted to date or something like that (it was one of those compare people things). So it made me start thinking about them. And I looked, and Scott (the one I was madly in love with) has been married for like the past 9 months. That's so weird! It's weird to think your first major crush is married now! It just gave me such a weird little feeling in my tummy. Because although I'm so happy for him (and for myself, because actually I think I chose best for sure in Austin! He is drop dead gorgeous AND a perfect match for me), it's just weird. Do you ever forget your first crush? I mean, not that you still have a crush on them. It's just that you used to have such strong feelings for them, and now, although you have moved on in life, it's weird that they have moved on! *Sigh, growing up... ha ha. (And Austin if you are reading this I promise I love you the most! Ha ha). Once again, it proves that I haven't been keeping up with people like I should!

What else? Oh, I've started getting ready to move. We are moving July 30. I have started cleaning out the bathroom cabinet (I through away a whole bathroom line... shampoos, body washes, lotions, make up... probably a million dollars worth of product!), our night stands, closets, and everything. I do not want to move a bunch of useless junk to Arizona! But it is actually going to be more time consuming than I thought. Next week, Austin better watch Makenna for me or I will never get it all done!

Speaking of next week, Austin graduates tomorrow! Woo hoo! I have felt so sorry for the poor guy! Last night he was studying so hard and doing so much homework that his poor little eyes ached! But it's almost over! He has gone to take a test now (and it's the dreaded Organic Chemistry test! The one that depends on whether or not we go to podiatry school!), and then he has three more tests tomorrow. And then tomorrow night, graduation banquet, commencement, and convocation! And then freedom for another month and a half! Next week I have to, have to, have to pack! No procrastination (like I'm doing with cleaning the bathroom right now! lol).

Oh well, Makenna is asleep now... I guess I really should go clean the bathroom... poo again!

Yeah, I'm glad someone else I know joined the blogging train! That's what is giving me something to do this summer besides nothing. Have fun with the packing, that is probably my least favorite thing in the world! Let's do Rigby Lake this week before you leave.
